Shimano's latest and greatest Ultegra groupset is here in the form of the Ultegra Di2 R8100 Groupset and it’s phenomenal. It features a 12-speed cassette with a bigger gear range and less gear steps for smoother shifting. Wireless shifters keep your cockpit clean and make the installation process far more simple. Shifting speeds have been drastically reduced, giving the ultimate advantage when it’s time to sprint for the finish. Shimano’s mountain bike Servo Wave technology has been implemented into the new Ultegra R8170 brakes, which delivers improved modulation and more confidence on the descents. Every aspect of the groupset has been refined to not only deliver even more performance than the previous generation but also be far easier to set up and maintain.
